MA Long MA Long

High class line-up in Belgium with Timo BOLL and MA Long

22/07/2010 - German and Chinese stars Timo BOLL and MA Long will lead their respective teams at the Euro-Asia All Stars Series second leg that will be held in Mons, the capital of the Hainaut Province in Belgium, on 12th and 13th October 2010. Both Continental Unions announced the final line up for the two-day Event in Mons Arena.

Beside Europe's no. 1 and World's no. 3,Timo BOLL, European line up includes the name of Belarus ace Vladimir SAMSONOV who played at all three previous Euro-Asia All Stars Series clashes. In China on April player currently ranked at position no. 7 in the World overcame Jun MIZUTANI of Japan. Michael MAZE of Denmark suffered from the injury, but he will be ready for Mons. Player listed at no. 10 of the ITTF rankings overcame WANG Liqin of China in Beijing this year. CHEN Weixing will have premiere at the Euro-Asia All Stars Series Event. Austrian player is currently ranked at position no 20 in the World. Legendary Jean -Michel SAIVE will join them and it will certainly fire up the home crowd. Team captain will be Ferenc KARSAI.

On the other side of the net world's no. one MA Long will be in the line up again. Last time he played was on 2009 Asian leg in Beijing. Jun MIZUTANI played also in Beijing but on this year's edition. Japan's player is listed at position no. 9 at the ITTF rankings. CHUANG Chih-Yuan of Taipei world's no. 16 played in Istanbul and Beijing last year and scored three times against SCHLAGER, KREANGA and PERSSON. JOO Se Hyuk of Korea is ranked at position no. 11 in the world. He is, like SAMSONOV, the player who has been chosen for all three events. TANG Peng from Hong Kong is the new name at the Euro-Asia All Stars Series list of stars. He is currently ranked at the position no. 17. Team captain will be PARK Do Cheon.

The Belgium's part of organization was entrusted to Philippe SAIVE Management on behalf of Belgian TT Association.

In Beijing earlier this year after 10 regular matches and 11th additional encounter Asia took the honour of winning the first leg in 2010. Europe has been defeated 5:6 on aggregate after two days of fierce battles.

Last year, both Continental's teams won in front of home crowd in Beijing and Istanbul.
